Names to go with Isla?

We are probably going to name one of our identical girl twins Isla, but are stuck on the other name.
We want something classical or unusual, and any suggestions would be appreciated!

We love Isla but rhymes with our surname We called our DD Iona instead, but does go well with Isla, depends if you like/dislike using the same initial!

I know a pair of sisters (not twins) called Isla and Eleano, which I think is a lovey combo.

Had my DS1 been a girl, he would have been called Eileis Isla. DS2 was going to be Iona Ailsa.

My fantasy DD is called Isla, and her fantasy sisters are Carys and Faith.

qumquat · 28/10/2009 13:19

Oops, missed the classical bit. Eleni (Ell -EH-nee) is the Greek version of Helen, which I think is beautiful.

I know a Marnie and Isla. Marnie's cool IMO.

Isla and Orla is terrible, ditto Isla and Iona.

My niece is Isla and her sister is Erin - I think they go very well together (although Erin not unusual as such).
