A gfriend of mine recently gave birth to a beautiful little girl, who they named Violet Harriet Martha...

except theyve now decided that she just isnt a violet!

I said i would ask you lot to think of some because all theyve come up with is...well...nothing!

any help with traditional names?

middle names will be the same and dont want to add any more!

Both middle names are great names, they should use one of those.

They had a little boy who was still born last jan, called Harry, thats who the harriet part is after.

is that odd to do it as a first name after your DS??

I think its a lovely thought to have it as her middle name. My sisters dad died before she was born, and she has the female equivalent of his name as a middle name. Lovely tribute imo

ooh I really like Mabel Harriet Martha... might have to pinch that for my next one

I agree that Harriet Martha on its own is lovely or perhaps a shorter name like Eve, Amy or Kate?

Lilyloooohhhh · 27/10/2009 22:01

What about Martha Harriet then if they concerned about using Harriet as first name ?
Although i wouldn't think it odd at all

Baby Elsie Harriet Martha has been officially named!

Thank you all so much for your suggestions!

Mabel & Hennrietta have been ear-marked for "the next 2" according to her dad!
