I like it
just enough ponce but not too much

get some good nicknames ready though as it will inevitably be shortened to Henry unless you take a very hard line. Hetty? Etta?

Bubbaluv · 25/10/2009 15:52

Lovely!
I know one who's nn is Hen.

alittlebitshy · 25/10/2009 15:59

It was one of our girl oprions if ds had been a dd2. We were going to shorten to Henny.

Lovely

I like it but personally I prefer Henriette. Hen or Hetty are both nice nicknames.

purepurple · 25/10/2009 16:11

I am not too keen, sorry. Reminds me of a pink vacuum cleaner.

I know a little Henrietta and whilst I found it odd to begin with I love it now. Although I still have to pause before I say it as it just doesn't come naturally to me. I guess that means it's quite unusual .

Lovely, especially with nick names Hen and Hetty.

TheDevilsKnickers0nMaHead · 25/10/2009 17:32

I think it is lovely.

lolianja · 25/10/2009 19:27

I like it. It is a bit poncey but not so much that it would get laughs or remarks in the playground.

I've known 4 and they've always been Hen or Henny - and one Hetty. Never known any Ettas or female Henrys.

gibba8 · 25/10/2009 19:34

Sorry but it is my name and I do not like it! It was also my grans and aunts names and they got Hetty and Etty.

cece · 25/10/2009 19:36
