All nice except Callum!

lovemybabyboy · 14/10/2009 12:49

All nice names, but I like Adam, George and Callum the most from your list.

Salonly · 14/10/2009 12:50

George and Thomas are the best.

lljkk · 14/10/2009 13:32

Conventional classics. I don't like Callum or Adam. James is my favourite.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 14/10/2009 13:42

Good safe names. Thomas is perhaps too popular, although Tom is a good name for young and old

The only one I don't like at all is Sebastian.

Adam and Benjamin are my favourites

Hulababy · 14/10/2009 13:44

From your OP I prefer George.

I'm hiding behind the parapet... to me Thomas, James, Sebastian, George, Adam, Benjamin are all very similar names. Very nice and inoffensive. Callum (hears rifles being loaded) is a different type of name. Having Callum in with this selection is like calling your children Rebecca, Hannah and Diamanta Bicardi Breezer...

CuppaTeaJanice · 14/10/2009 14:02

I agree, a very mixed selection here.

Thomas, James, George, Adam - conventional to the point of boredom.

Callum and Sebastian - polar opposites on the 'poshness' scale as far as names go.

Benjamin's the only one I would personally consider, although I prefer Benji.

Fancy a digestive Cuppa ?!

DH has scottish grandparents - hence the inclusion of Callum. I thought it was a traditional scots name, but agree it is odds a bit with the other names in the list

It is a traditional Scottish name, but has been widely adopted and is not in the same 'camp' as the other names on your list. That's why it was surprsising to read it there. Don't mean to be offensive about the name, but it just doesn't fit with your other choices.

ClaraDeLaNoche · 15/10/2009 10:10

I quite like Callum if it is shortened to Cal and you don't live in Scotland.

I must say doubleexpresso I misunderstood your comment about rifles being loaded and Callum. The name also reminds me of the Bernard McLaverty book about Cal the IRA man. But you are not inside my silly head.

hattee · 15/10/2009 10:15

No offence taken - I wanted honest opinions else I wouldn't have asked

I don't really like it either to be honest, but I think I'd have it as a middle name to keep DH happy
