No preference but a few of them I dislike an awful lot.

Regan makes me think of King Lear. She was a Very Bad Person.

Sasha is a boy's name to me.

Wilhelmina is a better spelling.

Estee no no no.

sweetnitanitro · 29/09/2009 17:02

I would rule out any names that you had to put phonetic spellings for. A lot of them would be difficult to spell as well.

Of the list I only really like Cleo, Vivienne, Sasha and Willow. The Irish names are all nice and shouldn't be hard for people to spell or pronounce if you live in N Ireland.

katnkittens · 29/09/2009 17:23

Willow
Vivienne
Cleo
Valentina

Are all nice. The rest I'm sorry but I really dislike.

Good luck choosing!

janeite · 29/09/2009 17:28

Vivienne rocks. I quite like Eden and Willow. Most of the others are, imho, pretty dreadful.

CatchaStar · 29/09/2009 17:30
  1. Seren
  2. Ayla
  3. Aiona
  4. Layli

A few on the list are, imo a little uh... not to my taste.

But the 4 above I think are lovely, Seren was a name I 'found' the day after I'd registered my dd, was a tad miffed

ziva (not zeeva) is a hebrew name meaning light/bright

I like Valentina out of the rest

bellissima · 29/09/2009 20:22

ang on this is on two threads.

eh-stay - as in make up?

logi · 30/09/2009 00:09

Favourites...willow,phoenix,eden.

florence2511 · 30/09/2009 04:43

Estee is a pretty name - very French.

nooka · 30/09/2009 05:46

Well they are an interesting bunch! I like Vivienne and Seren, not very keen on the rest in truth. Surely you wouldn't choose Morrigan - wasn't she a terrible goddess?

Pasiphae · 30/09/2009 11:49

Oh Willemina is so lovely! Very versatile.

Phoenix is awful, new-age celeb cheese. And
Willow is OK.

I love some of the name on your list
Atalia
Lorelei
Valentina
Aurielle
Vivienne
Cleo
Morrigan ( a bit darker/goddess of war but it's quite strong and fresh)

Really not so keen:
Estee Lauder, too much make association.
Vesper (I think of the mass, depsite no final s).
