Thoughts please.

Erm, girl or boy?

looks like Timothy spelt wrong.

Or Lemony's tiny brother...

GingGangGillyGilly · 28/09/2009 10:14

It's a surname so you would have to like surnames as Christian names.

Reminds me of Timon

(Athens)

Bathsheba · 28/09/2009 10:14

No. It looks like its been spelled wrongly.

indiechick · 28/09/2009 10:15

Girl, to go with Stanley and George.

GingGangGillyGilly · 28/09/2009 10:16

I would say definitely not a girl's name.

IWantCleanCarpets · 28/09/2009 10:18

No, I would assume it was shortened to Tim

snowshoes · 28/09/2009 11:15

My first thought was "Timony Cricket"

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 28/09/2009 11:40

not a name.

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 28/09/2009 11:41

timony

purpleduck · 28/09/2009 11:57

its shampoo innit

GrendelsMum · 28/09/2009 12:17

Gosh, I really like it. I think it's lovely.

But I have discovered from MN that I have terrible taste.

skyward · 28/09/2009 12:31

I know of an adult called Simoney (not sure how you spell it)but pronounced like timoney with an s at the beginning. Always thought that was a nice name.

MrsBadger · 28/09/2009 12:37

No

just no

GrimmaTheNome · 28/09/2009 12:37

It sounds like an abbreviation of Antimony. Which is a rather nasty poisonous element.

Or a dimunutive of Timon (male) or misspelling of Timothy (boy)

If your boys are Stanley and George, which are really trad, then surely you need a trad girls name to go with them not something no-one has heard of?

MrsBadger · 28/09/2009 12:38

[sings in Tom Lehrer style]

There's Anne, Timony, arsenic, aluminim, selenium...

GrimmaTheNome · 28/09/2009 12:41

Well yes exactly, Anne Timony came to mind just after posting.

I'm sure the periodic table could inspire all sorts of unique baby names!

MrsBadger · 28/09/2009 12:46

oh yes, Selena, Golda, Beryl, Xenon (for a boy obv)...
