My middle name is Nicolette.

I love it (and have passed it on to DD), but she will get Nicorette all the time.

Cortina · 26/09/2009 11:43

I hadn't thought of Nicorette!

yep, tis inevitable. If that bothers you, of course - as far as playground teasing goes I'm sure there are much worse.

Zelda is cool. Leo seems to be having a bit of a resurgence around my area, but it's nowhere near as ubiquitous as Jack and Max.

nicnacinoonoo · 26/09/2009 11:48

my name is nicolette and i did get that some although not enough that it bothered me. most people know me by nicki though.

tummytickler · 26/09/2009 14:10

I know 2 Clementines and a Lara aswell as several Leo's (but not Leopold).
None of the others - i love Prudence!

Knickers0nmahead · 26/09/2009 19:49

Reminds me of Nicorette, sorry. Nicole is better.

nooka · 26/09/2009 20:06

My grandmother was a Nicolette. Nicki to her oldest friends only. I quite like Clementine and Prudence (not sure about Clemmie or Prue as nnames though). Zelda and Lara seem silly to me, but that's because dh is a games player, so that's the association I have. I've hear of Carina, but not Carine. Not to sure about that one.

Carine is French I think. There's a famous magazine editor (?) Carine Roitfield (or similar surname).
