Would be pn Meera although traditional spelling would be. It is an Indian name but easily pronounceable in this country. What do you think?

I knew a Mira and she was really nice. It is an Indian name, but I think it makes the transition well. I like it!

Geepers · 24/09/2009 13:23

I have a Mira shower so I couldn't.

UnrequitedSkink · 24/09/2009 13:27

Pretty, easily pronounceable. The only one I can think of is Meera Syal, but she's pretty cool.

Squishabelle · 24/09/2009 13:43

Yes - Mira showers and meercats.

MamaLazarou · 24/09/2009 21:53

I would pronounce Mira as Myra.

lilacpink · 24/09/2009 21:55

I like Meera, with that spelling, but Mira spelling def remind me of Mira showers.

Plonker · 24/09/2009 22:10

I think Mira is very pretty.

My first thought was Meera Syal - who's pretty cool

Wouldn't make the connection to Myra ...
