Initials

Due in 3 weeks and we think we're (finally) close to deciding on names for DD-to-be. Initials of first name and surname together are "EM" which we're happy with (and happy for her to be known as Em if it comes to it). We're less sure about the full initials which will be "EHRM" and could sound like a cough. Does it matter?

No.

I think you might be over thinking this.

EHRM does not sound like a cough to me, and tose letters do not spell an actual word that I know of. Relax, and use your name.

Definitely overthinking. If the initials were COK or STD, you'd need a rethink. But EHRM - I seriously doubt anyone would ever look at those initials and think they sounded like a cough.

Wouldn't haVE crossed my mind to think that, murtette

I wouldn't worry about those initials.

I never thought the initial thing through though....

and ended up with

2 CO'C's and 2 KO'C's.....not great!

My DS2's initials are NRG which I always think of as eNeRGy. Very suitable in his case.

It's worth thinking about initials but not worth getting hung up on!

My initials spell my nickname, but my first daughter is currently lined up to be MINT. Not that I'm pg yet and won't be for a while
