I am still really struggling to come up with a name that I REALLY like. As per my thread a while ago, the contenders were

Keira(or Kira or Ciara - can't decide!) - both dh and I like this, but I don't LOVE it, and feel it's quite a hard sounding name.

Leah - which I do like and dh thinks it's ok but our surname is short (one syllable) and not sure it sounds ok.

Jemma - dd's choice which dh and I both think is ok, but not overly excited about!

Other names we have thought about are Sophia, Eliza (although dh not so keen), Charlotte, Eleanor.

DD has a flower name and we DEFINITELY do not want another one. I like names that are 'normal' but not really traditional like Victoria or Elizabeth.

Please help!!

"I have to admit Bree and Barrylee are good names"

I like Cheddar for a girl, or what about Stilton.

My DD is Carys Faith and I love it.

Other options were:

Ava
Greta
Annie
Giselle (Gigi)

I wouldn't let your dd choose. Tell her that she can choose the name of her own child.

my DD's name is Harriet. All the 'old'names are making a come back but you don't hear this one much. She is 19 now and has never met another Harriet!!!
