Does anyone know what Minnie is short for?All I can think of is Wilhelmina which seems unlikely-just curious not planning to name anyone!

Mouse

No, seriously people are calling it Minnie without it being short for anything

Minerva?

MrsWuh · 10/09/2009 20:02

Ermintrude?

Tidey · 10/09/2009 20:03

Araminta?

I don't like it personally. It sounds like a vulva nickname.

I know a Minnie, not short for anything.

I think it's lovely but I have heard the bad nickname connotation thing before, which is a shame. See also Percy.

And not one to use if you're a tall family!

I love it - we considered it as a nickname for Minerva (but we've just found out we are having a boy, hee hee hee )
