I prefer Beatrice as it is "softer".
I´m sure you could still use Trixi with that.

honestlyandtruly · 04/09/2009 15:30

Agree that Beatrice is nicer than Beatrix.

MrsBadger · 04/09/2009 15:41

Beatrice (Bea) is lovely

Beatrix I am less keen on, and I'm afraid Trixie is more than I could stand

and Tilly and Trixy do sound twee together

Roopoo · 04/09/2009 15:42

Thought people might think this ha ha ha... It does sound a little twee xx

Annabelle???? (love that as well)

I like Annabel
or even Arabella.

'Tilly and Bella' is better but you will get 'Tilly and Belly'...

MaggieVirgo · 04/09/2009 15:59

I prefer Annabel as that goes better with Matilda/Tilly. I agree that Tilly and Trixy is a bit........Pandas at the zoo, you know?

Beatrix is definitely a beautifully elegant, strong name, but it is very strong.

MaggieVirgo · 04/09/2009 16:00

Ps, what about Juliet, if you like those elegant names that don't end in a.

Roopoo · 04/09/2009 16:20

oooooh Juliet is nice x

I'd go for Beatrice with nn Bea. Love it.

Juliet is lovely too.

MrsVik · 04/09/2009 19:53

I quite like Beatrix!

dizzydixies · 04/09/2009 20:45

love Beatrice, Beatrix is a tad harsh for me but its still lovely

Merle · 04/09/2009 21:51

I like both Beatrice (contender for what turned out to be DS1) and Beatrix. If I needed to use one of them again I just might go for Beatrix.
