Think we have finally agreed on the name Poppy.....I was slightly worried but having heard a 12 year being called it yesterday I thought yes, love it! Anyway, need a middle name.....we are thinking Elisabeth but its not grabbing me too much....any suggestions? My DS1 has two middle names, so twice as hard to think of two middle names I really like!

I have 3 daughters and of course we gave favourite names to DD1 and were a bit stuck by the time we got to DD3! Their names are Evie Amelia, Anna Emily and Georgia Elizabeth - my niece is called Poppy and I love it!

Know a child called Poppy Joy and always thought that was very sounded very fitting. Poppy Joy Elisabeth sounds lovely to me.

I was going to call ds Poppy if he was a girl-I love it-we were going to have Poppy May or Poppy Anna or Poppy Lou

We have a Poppy Tiger Grace which is a bit on the bizarre side admittedly but she's seven now and loves it! We also have a Daisy Martha Honey and I'm just about to have DD3 and am a bit stuck. The flower theme isn't sticking as i don't like any of the others so we're thinking Isla. But I have heard of two baby Islas recently and don't want to give my child a name on the brink of a major popularity spike. I was one of three Helens in my class at school and hated it!!
anyway, sorry just rambling now having crashed your Poppy question! I think it's a fab name obviously, I know one adult Poppy and she says she has always loved it if that helps.

Poppy Elizabeth is beautiful.

Not so sure on the suggestion of Poppy Anna, puts me in mind of Pollyanna. I have nothing against Anna though as it is my name and I love it!

How about

Poppy Grace
Poppy Rose
Poppy Amelia

EasyEggs · 05/09/2009 19:09

Poppy Grace
Poppy Maeve
Poppy Rose

Poppy Elizabeth is lovely, as is Poppy Alice, or Poppy Louise. Isn't Jamie Oliver's daughter Poppy Honey?

pinkthechaffinch · 05/09/2009 22:00

My baby is Polly Julia (similar to Poppy!)
