Is Felix getting very popular? is Milo too associated with chocolate milk drink (i have family in Australia so will probably go there a bit)? Is Amber a bit trailer trash - I love it but not sure? Bottom name isn't displaying very well but is "Saskia"

I like slightly unusual names ideally with a bit of history - but not really into old lady names...

Felix - love it; was vetod by DH on basis of cat food
Magnus - awful, awful - pretentious (IMO)
Milo - love it
Rafael - ok
Xavier - no

Girls
Amber - lovely
India - also lovely
Saskia - OK but others much nicer

I like India and Felix.

I see Marker 7 at the end there, not Saskia.... anyone else see that????

Is this your first DC?

Just thinking that Amber or India could sound chavvy alone but if you have other DCs with similar names to the ones on this list then that would set the tone for them not sounding chavvy iyswim

Felix and India - sounds unusual but lovely!

I really like your boy's choices. I think Felix is probably as popular as it's every going to get - it's been hovering around the top 100 for a few years now but has never really taken off. So I think it's a safe bet.

Magnus would be the only boy's name on your list i'm not crazy about. It's a bit geeky and makes me think of a middle aged man in a cardigan.

Not keen on the girl's choices though I think they're both a wee bit common now.

Amber - Yuck - Because I know 1 and she is grotty.
India - OK but you can't be really commom - would sound ok shouted out in Waitrose but not Asda IYKWIM
Saskia - reminds me of the big breasted hussy in Big Brother.

Felix - ok but cat food and may get 'fifi' for short
Magnus - awful, awful
Milo - dislike
Rafael - dislike
Xavier - terrible, people will think 'ex avier' or 'have ier'

Amber - love it
India - ok
Saskia - OK

I like Magnus, Felix is nice too.

I like all of your girls names though India perhaps has the edge for me.

I love India but DH isn't sure about naming child after a country.

First DC & we're pretty middle class

Xavier would be pronounced Zav-i-eh but called Zav or Zavi - my DH is part Spanish

Felix i like cos it means Happy & lucky in Latin but the cat assossciation is very strong.

Xavier is a lovely name.

Amber is beautiful too!

Felix is a bit pretentious.

Rafael and Milo are lovely, especially as you have the Spanish connection.

Instead of Amber (slightly chavvy IMHO) - could you try Ambra (Italian, maybe Spanish too?)?

Whatever you plump for, just say the name (including nicknames) out loud 100 times in a row at varying volumes to be really sure you can live with it for the rest of your lives

Amber - the only ones I know are chavvy
India - nice but be prepared for lots of questions like oh did you have a holiday in India then? Like Brooklyn Beckham... (my friend has an India)
Saskia - pretty and not many around

love all fthe boys names, i think if pushed i would go for xavier or rafael, though may spell raphael

saskia is a beautiful name,. i like amber, not so keen on india

Felix- like this a lot but you might get some people making remarks about cat food.
Magnus- like this too.
Milo- love this but couldn't use as DH is reminded strongly of the drink too!
Rafael- love this+++ (prefer Raphael spelling)
Xavier- not for me

Amber- could sound a bit chavvy (shame as it's actually a pretty name).
India- pretty.

Sorry don't like your boys names....Felix just reminds me of cats and Milo the drink. I hate Magnus, reminds me of minging Magnus.

Amber is the only girls name I like but not one that I would go for as I know so many.
