William for me too....slightly biased as my ds is a William

TheFallenMadonna · 24/08/2009 14:47

William

lazylion · 24/08/2009 14:54

I like both but William sounds better with Emily.

millenniumfalcon · 24/08/2009 15:08

william - classic and less pigeon-hole "posh" than henry/harry.

Sidge · 24/08/2009 15:55

William.

Lovely name, was on my boy list.

Henry would make a nice middle name

FuntoLearn · 24/08/2009 16:03

We have decided on George and Arthur as middle names (grandparent first names and father middle names)
Probably wouldve gone for Hentry as a middle name otherwise.

Looking more like William... but still like Henry........

Anyone for Henry ???

I like William - I have a nephew Henry he's a absolute horror, drives me up the wall

MaggieLeo · 24/08/2009 16:09

NOT a fan of Henry, but William is a much nicer name. Henry is the nasal and stuffy, a real flat cap name. I really like George too, but not Arthur, although Artie is cute.

Mind you, I seem to be tripping over ARties at the moment. There is one in my son's creche (i saw Artie under a painting) and there was one in the park, so I said, do you go to blah creche and he said 'no'. So in rural Ireland, there are two ARties a stones throw from eachotehr. URBAN chic is not what it used to be

MaybeAfterBreakfast · 24/08/2009 16:14

Both lovely.

How about William Henry?

Fanfare · 24/08/2009 17:23

Both gorgeous traditional names, but I'll put in a vote for Henry. William has been in the top 10 boys names for years - there are far less little Henry's running around!

screamingabdab · 24/08/2009 17:36

William

bess23 · 24/08/2009 18:13

like both but Henry more .

Issy123 · 24/08/2009 20:26

Much prefer Henry but like both, William is a little bit boring.

Daisydaydream · 24/08/2009 20:32

Henry, I have a 16 month Henry and he is the best thing in the world!

ErikaMaye · 24/08/2009 20:40

Think William sounds better with Emily. Also, my brother is William George and that works really well

pinkchampagne · 24/08/2009 20:45

Henry

CantThinkofFunnyName · 24/08/2009 20:52

WILLIAM Arthur gets my vote. William is my top choice for a boy's name but my two DCs at school age are not at all keen because of the "willy" connotations! So we've given in and going for William as middle name instead.

chichichien · 24/08/2009 21:08

william

PCPlumIsMyHomeboy · 24/08/2009 21:10

DS (and my Grandad)are Henry William. fab names both!

claireinthecommunity · 24/08/2009 21:28

Agree with others that William sounds better with Emily, but I do like Henry too.

All the best for next week

FuntoLearn · 25/08/2009 18:01
