Greetings ME!

Just thought it was quite cute as a nickname for a 2 year old girl.. but well god help her when she gets to school, or ends up being a barrister or a rugby player or anything really

There is a Dr. Pixie on embarrassing illnesses, but it did make me laugh just a little bit.

princessmel · 18/08/2009 10:39

ds commented on that!!

codinbatterindailymail · 18/08/2009 10:40

Quite so.

Dr Pixie Minx has a certain ring about it though, dontcha think?

4andnotout · 18/08/2009 10:40

I know an adult Pixie and it really suits her, with hindsuit i think it would have been the perfect name for dd3.

4andnotout · 18/08/2009 10:40

hindsight not hindsuit!

geordieminx · 18/08/2009 10:41

Perhaps I shall change my name... I think I would suit pixie!

It only works if you can guarentee your child will be small and dainty and cute forever.

Not if there's any chance they'll be tall or overweight or in anyway un-pixielike, which there almost always is....

so my answer is no.

geordieminx · 18/08/2009 10:51

She doesnt look like a Pixie

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 18/08/2009 11:00

I rather like it. But then, I would.

Wouldn't use it though. Nicer as a nn.

OrmIrian · 18/08/2009 11:01

Fnar! No.

What happens if she ends up 20 stone and built like a navvie?

Sorry

4andnotout · 18/08/2009 11:01

DD3 could be a Pixie, if only she wasn't so dirty

geordieminx · 18/08/2009 11:01

Go on.... you know you want it.

And if anyone woud suit it then it would be you!

OP posts:
OrmIrian · 18/08/2009 11:03

DD3 is gorgeous 4and, but I would have to say imp not pixie

brimfull · 18/08/2009 11:03

I know a little girl called Dixie.

I like it

Lulubee · 18/08/2009 11:04

Oh 4andnotout, your DD3 so could be a Pixie.

Think it's adorable as a nn, not sure what short for though?

MrsBadger · 18/08/2009 11:06

ghastly

imagine trying to be taken seriously as a barrister

logi · 18/08/2009 11:13

very cute name!

pigsinmud · 18/08/2009 11:15

Bob and Paulas daughter Pixie is even worse off than most are aware, her middle name is Pixie. Her first name is...

Little.

My Mums a big Paula fan and went looking for the kids birth records online, she was very frustrated that despite knowing all four daughters birthdays, she couldn't find Pixie, and eventually after a little digging she found

Little Pixie Geldof.

Scary.
