I always think of the girl balancing three pints on her head.

Celery · 15/08/2009 18:03

I prefer Beatrice.

I agree with Diamond Head. Don't listen to me, though - it's a perfectly good name.

Schulte · 15/08/2009 20:36

She'll be called Trixie. I prefer Beatrice, it's a beautiful name.

starkadder · 16/08/2009 08:22

Oh no! Beer tricks! Did not think of that.

I don't like Beatrice as much...knew a girl called Beatrice when I was little, who was HORRIBLE. For some reason, Beatrix seems v different.

I thought she could be Bea for short...

reminds me of harry potter

mathanxiety · 17/08/2009 03:28

I have a stronger association with Beatrix Potter than the beer girl. Nice unusual name.

Ladyem · 17/08/2009 13:49

I prefer Beatrice, too. Something about the way Beatrix looks written down... But Bea as a nn is lovely!

oltob · 20/08/2009 19:32

I think it's lovely, and so much nicer than Beatrice. Great female role model too.

dizzydixies · 20/08/2009 20:01

Its really lovely

BUT my immediate reaction was to think of the evil evil lady from Harry Potter

choosyfloosy · 20/08/2009 20:09

Lovely. I like Trixie as an nn too.
