saw it in a book I was reading to my dcs tonight.

Thought I'd throw it out there. Not my cup of tea but might be someone else's.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Dont see why it couldn't become more popular, after all, it is similar to Eric, which is becoming more popular!
I rather like Osric!

MsHighwater · 14/08/2009 21:33

For me, it would be fine as the name of a character in a fairytale but not for a real child, no.

LionstarBigPants · 14/08/2009 21:36

Ozric Tentacles anyone?

bluebump · 14/08/2009 21:37

That was my first thought LionstarBigPants!

sweetnitanitro · 14/08/2009 21:38

Immediately makes me think of Ozric Tentacles.

NorbertDentressangle · 14/08/2009 21:39

Ozric Tentacles was my first thought too as I once shared a student house with a hippy guy who was really into them.

Mushroom tea anyone?

Stayingsunnygirl · 14/08/2009 22:25

Osric sounds like a perfect name if you want your son to be beaten up behind the bike sheds on a regular basis!

KnickKnack · 14/08/2009 22:27

ahh happy memories

KnickKnack · 14/08/2009 22:27

...of the tenticles, NOT beaten in the bike sheds

Loshad · 14/08/2009 22:30

or gossiped about in the staffroom. Not a good name for a real child imo.

jkklpu · 14/08/2009 22:33

there's also Alaric
