gorgeous

was my girl choice but I had a boy

LaurieFairyCake · 12/08/2009 13:20

It's lovely and really common now - I met 4 on holiday in Dorset last week, all aged around 5-6.

MamaKaty · 12/08/2009 13:21

It's not a name I would consider but it's a lovely name! Brings to mind an independent strong willed woman!

HerHonesty · 12/08/2009 13:22

boodleboot · 12/08/2009 13:30

do NOT like. she bound to be called Scar for short which i think is horrible nn.

MaybeAfterBreakfast · 12/08/2009 13:34

Awful, imho. Very, very chavvy.

pointydog · 12/08/2009 13:36

it's ok

LaurieFairyCake · 12/08/2009 13:39

A girl at school's who's name is this has Lettie for a nn. Much better than Scar.

Monkeyandbooba · 12/08/2009 13:40

Err charming Maybe it's my daughter's name and we are not chavvy.

LouMacca · 12/08/2009 13:44

Lovely. I think its classy if anything and not chavvy at all.

Tillyscoutsmum · 12/08/2009 13:45

Its dsd's name. I've only come across one other so far (she's nearly 6) and I don't think its remotely chavvy. It doesn't get shortened by anyone at the moment

nappyaddict · 12/08/2009 13:47

It's nice but quite popular nowadays.

GibbonInARibbon · 12/08/2009 13:53

Awful imho to use the word chavvy.

I like it

Excuse me tis not chavvy at all. I'll have you know that Scarlett was my maiden name (had for many years and double barrelled my name when I got married) but then dropped it when my DD was born to use it to name her.
