Elizabeth. Loads of lovely n (Bess is my fav), timeless classic but not too popular.
Isla is very very current, and i think it will date your dd very quickly, Holly and Elizabeth are classic imo.

...also potential for her to fiddle with it when she's older- Lizzy, Bessie, Betty etc.

It's my dds middle name so I've got a vested interest. I don't know ANY Elizabeths- but a couple of Islas.

I love Isla but as others have said, it's very NOW and very popular. I don't like Elizabeth as such but adore Bess, so would chose it for that
