We had planned Matthias for our ds1, but the minute he was born we changed our minds! But still love the name.

Matthew is a nicer name, I think.

Matthias was popular in Germany for some time, I know quite a few guys called Matthias, most of them between 35 and 45yo. It is not quite so popular there at the moment.

Would most Brits know how to pronounce it?
