Of all the variants Seraphina, Seraphie...I am feeling that the above is the best choice. Do you know any Seraphines?

What are you planning for a "short"?

CarmenSanDiego · 20/07/2009 07:22

Love this! I like Seraphina but it's too much of a mouthful and I'm not so keen on 'A' endings. Seraphine is gorgeous though.

Yes, I know one! Middle name though. Love it.

DH would love to have a daughter named Seraphina, we are planning #3 at the moment so id say im going to hear it alot over the next 9 months,

Seraphine is lovely too.

I do know of one! A French woman who lives in co Cork. The mum wanted an unusual name, but the little girl seems to be called Sarah a lot!

Which, ironically, IS fairly unusual.

I taught one and she was a total angel so very apt.

Sad sleb knowledge - think Ben Affleck's second daughter is called Seraphina. I think its lovely.

margotandjerry · 21/07/2009 07:33

seeker - I hven't planned any 'shorts' as such...that will probably evolve by itself...but I guess Seraphi or 'Fifi' would be nicknames

I think that Sarah is much, much nicer.

I like it, however the image it conjures is that of very hippyfied, liberal parents who are of course, vegan!! That of course isn't neccesarily a bad thing [rin]

Definately a free spirit type of name
