Lupusina

Come on guys...is it going to work? I want something wolf-like that is going to convey strength and a Don't Mess With Me attitude, while still seeming exclusive and feminine-sounding. The diminutive Loopy would be our affectionate family name.

What do you all think?

Sounds a bit Kath and Kim to me - Lupus for a boy, Enema for a girl

OracleInaCoracle · 18/07/2009 21:19

hmmmm isnt lupus a blood disorder?

OracleInaCoracle · 18/07/2009 21:20

nope, the wonder of google assures me that it is an auto-immune disease.

TheGashlycrumbTinies · 18/07/2009 21:20

Sounds like an illness, don't like it, sorry.

BitOfFun · 18/07/2009 21:20

crokky · 18/07/2009 21:28

Lupus is an illness! You cannot use the name Lupusina.

BitOfFun · 18/07/2009 21:30

Mick is the name of my eldest child - what are you saying? < narrows eyes >

Lupusina is a real name in South America, means 'little wolf' in Spanish, and the name of the disease comes from the latin for wolf.

Stop being so horrid to BoF. It's a lovely name.

Mintyy · 18/07/2009 21:39

Think it only works in your surname is Suit .

Tell you what though, Llama would be a fab middle name.

wrinklytum · 18/07/2009 21:40

Lupus = autoimmune disease.

For the full monty you could name her

Systemic Lupus Erythrmatosis thus cutting out the need to ponder upon middle names.

OracleInaCoracle · 18/07/2009 21:40

actually mick is FiLs name.... totally irrelevant...

didnt a poster once say that she met a little girl called Klamidya?

BitOfFun · 18/07/2009 21:44

At last someone can see where I'm coming from! I conceived on a particularly fun trek down the Amazon, during which we were forced into more intimacy on a hammock than I am normally used too, on account of needing to sleep clear of the insects. Coleoptera was one suggestion put forward by DP, but I don't want to name her after a bug.

to, sorry, got over-excited, don't tell the pedants...

Vamonos · 18/07/2009 21:46

Oh I like it

Being called Loopy would set her apart from the common hordes, and I'd definitely think twice about messing with a Loopy.

OracleInaCoracle · 18/07/2009 21:46

how about Mallerya?

WilfSell · 18/07/2009 21:46

Mintyy - it goes lovely with those...

BitOfFun · 18/07/2009 21:47

Llama is a great middle name! It fits the whole funky Latin vibe I want to go for, thanks!

PeePee would be a charming diminutive, but I think I'm still leaning towards Loopy.
