Audra/ Adeline

What do you think of these names? I think they are v unusual but I quite like them after meeting people with both these names recently.

Prefer good old Audrey. Audra sounds like you got confused between (my baby has an) Aura and Audrey.

Adeline okay.

Audra is very nice.

Prefer Audra.

Audra and Audrey are nice. Don't like Adeline.

What about Ada or Phedra?

Is Audra made-up? Because if it is, it's the only name I've liked that isn't a 'proper' name! It's very dignified. I like.

(Unless...isn't it what the Speaker in The Commons has to shout? )

Know 2 Audras both are fowl! Afraid it has put me off the name for life. Audrey old ladyish Adeline nicer!

Not made up MamaH- it's a varient of Audrey.

I'm a bit obsessed with the name Audra, but not sure if I have the guts to call new dd that ...
I met one once who was lovely, and the name flicks up when I'm watching Private Practice and taunts me!

Audrey is a lot nicer.

I was at school with an Audra, she was a huge pita.

That alone puts me off the name.

Perhaps, though I reckon tis the name and most schools have one! Not biased or traumatised by the Audra experience at all! I'm sure she grew up to be lovely!
