Hi,

Any opinions on these variations:

For a girl:

Anna
Annabelle
Roseanna
Annabella
Annie

(As you can tell, I like the name Anna!!)

For a boy:

Thomas
William

Thanks!!

Anna is my favourite from that lot.

I don't like Thomas or William.

annasmami · 17/07/2009 08:57

I prefer Annabel (but I am biased ).

Not that keen on Thomas (Tom) or William (Will)...

belgo · 17/07/2009 09:04

They are all lovely.

dizzydixies · 17/07/2009 09:05

all fine and inoffensive, wait and see which you're most comfortable with when baby is born

slowreadingprogress · 17/07/2009 09:08

Anna is the classiest - lovely

Annabel close second! Not keen on the others.

Thomas and William are as dizzy said, inoffensive but I can't help but feel that if they were a colour they'd be beige, iykwim! How about Edward? Another traditional one but I find it more distinguished and more unusual.

Cies · 17/07/2009 09:10

I like them all, although I would go with Annabel spelling (don't know why really).

Thanks for comments

I know what you mean about the boys names but DH has ruled out lots of names...I do like Tom though as it was my Grandad's name!

How about Marianna, Julianna, Susannah?
