I like them all but not shortened. Kitty is OK but not Hattie or Pippa.

I have just seen the boys names-I wouldn't have Teddy and Kitty.

belgo · 14/07/2009 13:23

Harriet definitely, lovely name.

TheTeaThings · 14/07/2009 13:24

Isobel lovely (fave spelling)

Harriet / Hattie also brill.

belgo · 14/07/2009 13:24

Much prefer Catherine or Katharine to Kathryn.

belgo · 14/07/2009 13:25

Yes Isobel is lovely, so is Pippa.

We tried to call our Harriet Harry as that was my favourite nn but it didn't work. She is definitely a Harriet and occasionally Hattie. No problem with the Hattie Jacques association, she was cool.

Really like Isobel as well but only with that spelling. Any other looks too contrived.

MamaLazarou · 15/07/2009 08:36

Definitely Harriet. Kitty is a stripper's name. Pippa is horribly posh.
