We are english and alreadt have two DCs with quite traditional english names...

I LOVE Chiara. It's a beautiful name, gorgeous, and your dd will love it too. And you definitely shouldn't fret about not being Italian. I posted on here a few months ago bc I wanted Angelo for a ds (and also have no Italian blood, but am pretty fluent in the language) and I got a right slating |I put it down to petty parochialism [sticks nose in air emoticon]

I couldn't give a fuck though and would still have used it had I not have a had a surprise GIRL !!! (Beautifully named Ishbel - and guess what I'm NOT Scottish)

No worse than Luca which to me is very Italian and sounds peculiar if parents have no Italian link. Likewise Amelie which is also inexplicably very popular with people that have no French links.
