What do you think of this girls name?

I'm liking Tabitha as a girls name but a bit worried that it sounds a bit pretentious - what do you think? Also not sure about Tabby for a nickname - does it sound a bit like a cat?!

I love it - it'll be my next one's name (if I have a girl, which I hope I do because I don't like any boys' names). I knew a Tabby at school - she was beautiful and very nice.
