My daughter (who turned out to be a son!!!) was going to be called Freya Mary - Freya because I loved the name and Mary after my grandmother and best friend.

Bleatblurt · 11/06/2009 19:54

Elizabeth.

Freya Elizabeth was my chosen name if I'd had a girl last time.

tassisssss · 11/06/2009 19:55

Grace - a lovely middle name
or Joy which I'd consider using if we had a 4th.

I adore the name Freya but it doesn't really work with ur surname, sadly.

JellytotZ · 11/06/2009 19:57

My DP wants Emma ...we had both sort of settled on Grace but i have loved Freya forever and Im slowly winning DP around to the idea! Hurrah! Was thinking Freya Evelyn after grandmother .... Not sure about Marie, although I know what you mean about it rolling. It does sound nice together. Liking Mary too.......

Alice.

gigglewitch · 11/06/2009 19:59

been thinking. also try out...

Lucy
Jayne/Jane/Jade
Sophie
Lilly / Lily
Louise
Anes - should have a ^ over the 'n' but my computer won't do it (pronounced ann-yess)

JellytotZ · 11/06/2009 20:03

I have close family members called Alice and Lucy so I dont feel I can use them really.
Louise is my middle name and I hadn't actually thought about using it up until now! Maybe Freya Grace??

Anes is nice but a little 'out there' for me

I think a one syllable name sounds best - is quite often the case with a middle name - hence the popularity of Grace and May.

Have no really helpful suggestions though but like Sophie, Lily and Anes (with squiggle).

LessThenIdeal · 11/06/2009 20:26

Freya Jane here too.

boodleboot · 11/06/2009 21:16

my immediate thought was freya louise.

margotandjerry · 11/06/2009 21:52

Belle?

TreeTrunkThighs · 11/06/2009 22:08

I know a Freya Bethany which I've always thought lovely.

Finona · 11/06/2009 23:06

we've a Freya Mary as it's both grandmothers middle name. I did consider my maiden name (one syllable also starts with M) but decided against it as I have a surname as a middle name and hated it as a child. But as gigglewitch said, I think it depends what sort of names you like, whether you want a family name etc.
Give us some clues and we can comment

Finona · 11/06/2009 23:10
