We currently have Bronwyn and Emrys.

As much as DS is pleading I am not planning to call the new one Baby Gus (he did actually sob over that today ).

Please list oodles of welsh names of both genders. I will offer many thanks but can't see me being polite enough to comment on every single name (but bonus points for honesty yes???)

I have looked on too many sites now and the names are all merging into one - feel like this way I can just show DH a thread of names and it will be simpler

I love the name Nia meaning radiance/brightness sadly neither of us are Welsh.

The name Nia is also used in Greece, IFAIK.

We met two non Welsh Nias in Cornwall last summer.

Wyre is nice. I also like Tudor as a first name.

We have Megan, which is sufficiently English friendly as that is where we live. DH was very keen on Blodwen though.

I'm Welsh living in London. My children have very Welsh names - mentioned here already as unpronouncable / unspellable! (don't want to say and out myself, as they are very unusual). We got over it by giving them a middle name (still Welsh) which is easier, in case they/we found it too diffiicult.

But in fact, it is fine. We shorten my daughter's name, so no problems, and my son just spells it and tells people how to say it - nearly everyone gets it then. My children are 11 and 9 and love their names and that they are relatively unique, and because old ladies in my home town in Wales then coo over them when we go home ...

I love Arianwen / Arianwyn!

It was the name of the Snow Spider in the book by Jenny Nimmo, and it means white / holy silver.
