Without the y!

MakemineaGandT · 09/06/2009 14:30

Without. Of course.

bumpybecky · 09/06/2009 14:31

I've got a Zoe Elisabeth

don't like Zoey though

nigglewiggle · 09/06/2009 14:31

Def without.

It lends itself to lots of middle names. Do you have any contenders?

GooseyLoosey · 09/06/2009 14:32

Without! It looks like a misprint for "Joey" with it.

boodleboot · 09/06/2009 14:34

my friend is called Zoe Marie which i quite like. i really like Zoe Elizabeth now bumbybecky has mentioned it and i quite like Zoe Sian...

i wasn't sure if it had a Y on end or not

Sorry but the voice of dissent is here.....
I like it with. Only as it is a bit different.
There's an actress called Zoey Deschanel (I think?).

SoupDragon · 09/06/2009 14:38

Without.

GetOrfMoiLand · 09/06/2009 14:39

Zoey - the girl will spend her entire life saying 'no, Zoey with a y'.

blondissimo · 09/06/2009 14:39

Sorry just googled her and it's Zooey Deschanel. Now I am just thinking elephants...........

Fimbo · 09/06/2009 14:39

I like it spelt Zoe but think its quite hard name to find a second name to go with it.

Zoe Nadine

Zoe Louise

Mmm not sure of the above

hongkongzoe · 09/06/2009 14:40

I'm called Zoe (with two dots over the e)... my mother gave me the middle name Barbara ....don't use Barbara whatever you do!

boodleboot · 09/06/2009 14:50

how about Zoe Belle?

OP posts:
Kayzr · 09/06/2009 15:01

Ohhh I like that boodlebot

boodleboot · 09/06/2009 15:05

what are the two dots over the e about hongkongzoe - is that a european thing?

i actually like the name Barbara, don't ask me why, i just think it is so retro that its cute. i had a great auntie Babs....lovely lady with pile of frothy blonde hair.

Zoe Belle really does seem to go nicely actually.... i'm going to write it down in my special book....

dingledangle · 09/06/2009 15:16

Zoe May? or Zoe Mae?

boodleboot · 09/06/2009 15:26

I love Mae as a middle name, which i know is an unpopular thing to admit on MN, and already have a Mae middle name for my DD1....

BakewellTarts · 09/06/2009 15:31

Couldn't agree more and I also have a new niece called Zoe Elizabeth which I think is just perfect!

dingledangle · 09/06/2009 15:31

There is no reason why you cannot use it twice! Might give a nice bond for them when they are older?

MrsHappy · 09/06/2009 15:32

Strangely I like it more with the Y. Not sure why...

I reckon it goes with lots of middle names
Zoey Anna
Zoey Clare
Zoey Marianne

What's not to like?

belgo · 09/06/2009 15:41

Zoë

boodleboot · 09/06/2009 16:01

i am very impressed that you know how to double dot your e belgo....

OP posts:
hongkongzoe · 09/06/2009 16:34

Belgo How do you do that? Are you typing on a european keyboard?

Boodleboot I think its from the original greek spelling, the dots are called diareses, so you pronunce the e 'ee' iyswim. I like Zoe Belle... I get called that by a friend..

earthpixie · 09/06/2009 16:40

I like it and Zoe Elizabeth is cute 70s retro somehow (I went to school with one)

lechatnoir · 09/06/2009 17:46

Without the y definitely - it looks like a naff add-on with the 'y'.
