Aviva is an Israeli name - much used around here. I like it - hadn't heard of an insurance co with same name?

NU trade as Aviva worldwide and are now ditching the NU brand in the Uk to adopt Aviva here too...so considering just how damn big they are the comparison will be inevitable.

Aviva (the insurance company) is undergoing a huge rebrand and spending a lot of money on making sure everyone knows about their new name. So, on balance, no, I probably wouldn't go for it.

I'm really, really sorry but it sounds a bit like a Reeves and Mortimer catchphrase to me. Then again, since being pg I have taken a weird liking to the name Lulu (Dp is horrified) so my opinion is not to be trusted.

It sound's like a company, almost like Aveda (beauty)/Arriva (bus company). She may get mixed up with a bus. Never a good thing IYSWIM.

no. its an insurance company. however, it is the 5th bigest in the world, so at least wherever she goes people will know how to spell it and it will be an ice breaker.

It is an insurance company. That is the first thing everyone's going to think. Sorry. (Also, you are limiting her career propsects as she could never work in insurance or related industry)
