Unless of course you're about to give birth to a fawn.............

SouthMum · 07/06/2009 16:42

Please don't do it to the kid....

potatofactory · 07/06/2009 16:43

joke? You would be making her life significantly more difficult than it needs to be.

burningupinspeed · 07/06/2009 16:43

No.

nancy75 · 07/06/2009 16:48

Lola- have you been in the sun? At the sherry again?
I love it. Go for it. She'll be the only one in her class! How cool! (it is a girl isn't it? Please God.....)

RustyBear · 07/06/2009 17:16

If you really want her to be called Bambi, you could try naming her Amber. DD is Amber, and has been known as Bambi to her friends since her early teenage years - it's now evolved into 'Bam'
She doesn't seem to mind though.

Nancy66 · 07/06/2009 17:21

it's a truly hideous name. I think even porn stars would turn their noses up at this one.

purpleduck · 07/06/2009 17:28

NO!. Not porn stars - those playboy mansion twiglet/ tits on a stick type creatures

princessmel · 07/06/2009 18:11

Must be a joke thread.

Chocolateteapot · 07/06/2009 18:12

Bambi-May wish her mother had called her something else when she gets a bit older ?

snigger · 07/06/2009 18:13

Bambi most certainly may not.

Overmydeadbody · 07/06/2009 18:13

oh dear GOD f the love of all tings sane don't do it.

You fraek.

snigger · 07/06/2009 18:13

x-post Chocolate

Tidey · 07/06/2009 18:17

I'm not sure you're serious anyway, but just in case...

I really don't like hyphenated first names, they look somewhere between indecisive and greedy, as though a first name and middle name aren't enough and people want even more names than that. It also looks like an American porn star name.

Anything followed by 'May' sounds like an incomplete sentence. Bambi may... go swimming later etc.

Sorry if it was a real question, no offence intended, just my daft opinion.

If you call her that name, you'll find yourself making her wear these and you'll hate yourself, and we'll judge you.

Sorry, I'm a cats-bum-face over baby names.

crokky · 07/06/2009 18:29

Perhaps you could just call her May?
