Haha, I think either name is fine just not together, for the Ave Mariiia reason.
Use Eva it's lovely, but with a different middle name.

Also- with Maria as a middle name, it's frequently traditionally used as a middle name for boys in spain and other countries, so I kind of irrationally worry that using it as a middle name will provoke taunts of 'haha you're a boy' for the child. Unlikely here though. Hmm...

I like it - doesn't jar to me. But you could use Evelina Mary as an alternative.

Eva is nice but do use another middle name, too close to Ave Maria.

No - as others have said, it is too close to Ave Maria. And a bit boring.

I prefer Anna-Maria, though.

Also, Marie isn't half as nice as Maria.

My neice is Anna-Maria (as in one name, not a first and middle name) and I still sing Aaaaaaaaaaannnnnaaaaa Marrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyaaaaaa every time I think of her!

I like it, I don't think the Ave Maria thing matters as how often will people actualy ue both names together? Both beautiful names and they flow together really nicely.
