nevergoogledragonbutter · 26/05/2009 22:02

i think it's probably more acceptable to scots.

dizzydixies · 26/05/2009 22:17

Hunter covington is the name at the end of the credits of a programme DH watches (can't remember which one) BUT we both agree that it would be rude NOT to name a child that!

so you're allowed to use it as long as you have the middle name covington

LessThenIdeal · 26/05/2009 22:19

S'ok. As long as he's a gladiator...

forehead · 26/05/2009 22:30

Please dont burden your child with that name. It sounds like the name given to the main character in some cheesy Mills and Boon
romance novel.

bumpsoon · 27/05/2009 10:39

as in s thompson ,he of fear and loathing in las vegas ,gun toting mad as a box of frogs yank . Yeah i like it

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 28/05/2009 21:00

janeite · 28/05/2009 21:03

I have seen (and liked) Paris, Texas.

Don't like Hunter at all though, sorry.

jkklpu · 28/05/2009 21:04

big game

Heated · 28/05/2009 21:07

It is very romance novel, where the men are rugged and laconic and have brothers called Tate and Ryder. One of those names I secretly like but would never use.

thelollipoplady · 31/05/2009 22:04

My cousin has just named her little boy Hunter, but then she does live in Pennsylvania!

onthegophotobooth · 20/01/2012 15:46

I have just named my boy Hunter just because of the reason that he looks hunter.

woolly76 · 20/01/2012 15:51

Sounds a bit silly and faddy

ChickensGoMeh · 20/01/2012 15:53

Imagine you call your DS Hunter. Now imagine he grows up to be 5' nothing tall and an IT consultant. It's a lot to live up to, right?
