For a boy, obviously.

Gage Robert, in fact - opinions?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I hate being negative,

but... no.
To both names. People will hear 'guage' or 'page' or something similar. I'm a bit boring though

breadandroses · 21/05/2009 21:39

green

differentID · 21/05/2009 21:41

no.

Nighbynight · 21/05/2009 21:50

Gaga

Guage

Greengage

Engaged

Is that Page?

It does sound nice as a word on its own, but has too many connotations.

LynetteScavo · 21/05/2009 21:53

Green Gage.

No

Stumblebum · 21/05/2009 21:54

Just makes me think Pet Cemetery.

Lovely name tho.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 21/05/2009 21:56

We know a Gage who is known by all as Gadge. He hates that, but was inevitable mispronouciation I think.

SKYTVADDICT · 21/05/2009 21:58

Pet Cemetery memories here too!

Do like the name though

LessThenIdeal · 21/05/2009 21:58

That's where i got it from, Stumblebum.

Still like it though...

Can i just say though, it's Pet Sematary, not Cemetary....

I think your posting name says it all.

Onlyaphase · 21/05/2009 21:59

Yes, Pet Cemetery leapt into my mind too. not sure I can dissociate the name and book in my mind now, and the book was just scary

SKYTVADDICT · 21/05/2009 22:02

Whoops - just realised it is Pet "Sematary"

MrsMcCluskey · 21/05/2009 22:02

Pet semetary here - gives me the shivers.
Wouldnt want him crawling by my ankles!

ravenAK · 21/05/2009 22:02

No chance. PS too sad. I read it as a teenager, then passed it on to my (resolutely non-sentimental, ardent bookworm) dad, who couldn't finish it & told me I'd know why if & when I had children.

He was bloody right.

So no, I couldn't. Maybe because I've never heard it in any other context...?
