Drake just reminds me of Dr Drake Ramore (Joey's character in the soap in Friends). Or a duck.
Jonas is OK, though I'm underwhelmed by it.

Jonas is lovely although I prefer Jonah. Drake would only do it as a middle name and then it would be better to have a family connection as it sounds like a surname to me.

Jonas Drake perhaps... but I would be inclined to go for a common middle name as a fall back if he didnt like Jonas.

Sorry, I digress. Not too fond of either of them - they sound very American. Jonas at a push, perhaps.

My friend just called her DS Drake but for me too it just reminds me of Dr Drake Ramore from Friends.

careful with Jonas. its now my married name and i like it but i have signed up for a lifetime of people spelling it wrong or just mishearing and assuming jones!!! GRRR.

Drake makes me think of the Nickelodeon Childrens American TV programme 'Drake and Josh'

Jonas makes me think of the American Teenage boyband that features alot on Disney Channel

(just like to point out I've spent a week babysitting the neices - i don't choose to watch children's TV lol)

But yes - when both are put together you do sound like you are letting an 8 year old choose your shortlist

I love the name Jonah but not Jonas. I'm not even a wee bit keen on Drake (oh and I may just have a personal reason for preferring Jonah- it's fab, nudge nudge )
