I really like Colton for a boy, what do you think?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Thunderduck · 12/05/2009 13:47

I like it.

Divineintervention · 12/05/2009 13:48

No, a cross between Carlton (Fresh prince cousin) and Cole.

Fimbo · 12/05/2009 13:48

Not one I personally like, but it's your choice.

MadreInglese · 12/05/2009 13:48

Sounds like a charactor from Dallas

malenagrrl · 12/05/2009 13:51

I'm afraid it's a no. Don't like it, sounds strange.

Overmydeadbody · 12/05/2009 13:53

Personally, I don't like it, it sounds made up and makes me think of Colt.

Each to their own and all that though.

boodleboot · 12/05/2009 17:14

it does sound rather horsey to me....

Greensneeze · 12/05/2009 17:15

Not for me.

lastboxoftampons · 12/05/2009 17:45

I like it. MAdre - it's not from Dallas, but there was a character called Colton on a US soap called General Hospital. And he was pretty HOT

screamingabdab · 12/05/2009 18:39

Would get mis-spelt as Cotton a lot. Also, sounds like a surname. Sorry, that's a no from me.

PatTheHammer · 12/05/2009 18:43

Think it sounds good for a little boy/man, not sure a baby would 'wear' it very well. I suppose they are not babies long though so I guess that would pass

dinkymum · 12/05/2009 19:27

personally not too keen

Knax · 12/05/2009 20:50

I don't like it personally, but go for it if you do!

Littlefish · 12/05/2009 20:59

I don't like it.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 12/05/2009 20:59

reminds me of our old dishwasher

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 12/05/2009 21:01

It's a no from me too.

It does sound like a made up name - sounds a bit confused between a couple of other names.

thell · 13/05/2009 01:01

I had a PGCE tutor called Colton who was a floundering new boy who used to really get on our nerves...

But then Elizabeth Pantley has a son called Coleton, and she is very nice
