Baby girls names - final shortlist - please vote !

I don't like Kerry, Lauren or Lana. Nothing wrong with them really, they just don't do it for me.

Amelie - nice

Carla - nice and not too common in the UK, I prefer Clara

Lana - no

Lexie - no no no

Alyssa - no

Amber - nope

Caitlin - nice but dull

Ella - very nice but there are lots of them

Kerry -NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Lauren - Nice, but a bit blah

Thus my favourites are Amelie, very pretty name, Clara and Ella.

Lexie is terribly chav, alyssa is terribly 80s US chav, amber is the same and also strips in her local pool club, kerry- katona, Caitlin is associated with someone I know so I don't like the name, but don't let tha put you off!
Lana is 'wool' in various languages and anal backwards, as msmargotbeauregarde so eloquently stated. I like, however, Lena and Lina.
If you really like Lexie, how about Alexandra?

Don't like Carla or Kerry at all

Amelie and Ella are very popular at the moment, so she'll be one of many at school.

Lexie I like but it sounds a bit too much like a nickname to me - maybe Alexa with Lexie for short?

Lana is lovely - simple and uncommon! Also love Amber.

Alyssa (I like Elissa too), Lauren and Caitlin are all nice.

Ella - lovely ( was son # 2 girls choice!)

If i had to choose i would go with Caitlin
