Lola- too ''stripper'' to even consider?

Hey, so I really value all your opinions (wish I'd asked you about dd1's name I could have saved months of anguish!) dh really likes the name Lola- I think perhaps it's too 'chavette'?

Ignoring the dubious background of dolores (pains, sorrows, maria de los dolores, blabla) Lola seems a little common to me- (lola bunny lolo ferrari, pole dancing awful name with lolita connotations as well) but I still think it is cute- is it ready to be on 'the list' or completely veto-able?

Thanks

Lola means Grandma in the Philippines! Weirdly having the same conversation with my Filipino friends tonight before reading this. They were saying how it used to confuse them seeing Lola Bunny and other kids called Lola when to them it meant Granny!
