Welsh speakers help needed with spelling

DH and I are both Welsh and live abroad. Really love the name Gethin/en. In a pickle as we both know people with both spellings of the name. Will be moving back home in a few years time and don't want the poor fella to look ridiculous with the wrong spelling of his name (can get away with it out here!)
Anyone any idea of the Welsh spelling of the name please? Thanks!

I'm Welsh though not a Welsh speaker - there were Gethins in school with me, must admit I have never come across the spelling Gethen???

Definitely Gethin, never heard of Gethen.
Great name BTW!

PS I'm a Welsh speaker living in Wales.

Gorgeous - I was going to call my DD that if she'd been a boy. Definately with an 'i' though.

Thanks all for your help. Really appreciate it. Big pet hate is seeing weird spellings of names. DH totally chuffed people were positive about the name as he picked it! Diolch yn fawr!
