Still love it, can't seem to shake it from top of my list. Dh not opposed, not the way he has been to some of my suggestions!!!! What are your thoughts?

  1. It'll cost a lot in those decorative letters for his bedroom door
  2. It'll be a bugger for him to spell.

Benjamin,rasta poet

LetThemEatCake · 27/04/2009 22:05

people said that about my dd's name, yet she's been able to spell it, out loud, since the age of 2!

and fortunately we don't do decorative letters!!!! Might be tricky when playing with the Alphabetti though

yes, rasta poet, not a bad association!!

I never heard it before seeing it on here. Quite like it, original and cool sounding. I like Zeph/Zephie for short too. Go for it

LetThemEatCake · 27/04/2009 22:12

I think Zeph for short sounds great too

I think it's really cool.

Umlellala · 29/04/2009 07:44

love it

Am big fan of big Old Testament? biblical names (Caleb, Ezra?, Ezekiel, Micah, Zachariah, Levi etc etc) BUT have absolutely no religious leanings whatsoever so wouldn't feel right using

Zephaniah/Zeph v cool.

Umlellala · 29/04/2009 07:45

(oh, and it's phonetic so not that hard to spell IMO)

FabFrench · 03/05/2009 03:07

I'm surprised at myself, at first glance written down i was ready to dislike it. But you know what it's a great name, love it and Zeph works well. Go for it!!!

Heated · 03/05/2009 09:34

him

LetThemEatCake · 03/05/2009 09:37

well, I think it's between this and Magnus, as per my other thread.

I love Benjamin Zephaniah.

Does make me think of Benjamin Zephaniah, which isn't a bad thing. It sounds quite surname-ish to my ears because of that, though.
