not for my dc - we already have a girl name - but I just saw this in the credits for some morning Tv show and thought it was pretty. So throwing it out there in case any of you lot like it.

I loved this for DD2.

Until DP pointed out that in an English pronunciation it would sound very much like "orally". Which is not a name I would like to give to my daughter

LetThemEatCake · 23/04/2009 08:32

OMG!! had not thought of that, was in French mode.

Yes, big mistake. BIG!!!

Yes! Shame, as it's a lovely name in the French pronunciation. But we went with something else for DD2 in the end

wombleprincess · 23/04/2009 09:12

aurelia is much prettier

orelia (in english pronunciation)

lastboxoftampons · 23/04/2009 11:41

Reminds me of the song:

Aurelie, Aurelie
Maid of Golden Hair...

But that's probably just me!

saskipops · 23/04/2009 12:53

Also risk of being called "Oh really?" so it got it crossed off our baby name list

trixymalixy · 23/04/2009 13:01

It's pretty, I like it.

Disenchanted3 · 23/04/2009 13:28
