How do you pronounce Asa?

Only two I've ever heard of are Asa Briggs the historian & Asa Harford the footballer - both pronounced a-za with a long a for the first syllable.

That should be Asa Hartford btw

Acer is a computer manufacturer! - I'd definitely give it more of a z sound.

My old laptop was an Acer.....I still like it .

I am probably prejudiced by having to send the same school laptop back to Acer 5 times in 6 weeks - two of those times it was because they returned it with the wrong operating system.
