Hi
1st question - what do you think of the name Enid? Ds was nearly this if a dd. Considering it again. To go with siblings Iris, Eli, Pearl and Amos

2nd question - do you think that Mumsnet baby names forum is representative of a names popularity in rl? I have seen my dc's kids mentioned lately and a lot of other names that have been on my lists (eg recent post of Jethro) and just wonder if that means that they are on the rise?

  2. I think it is representative of middle classes, especially in the inner cities.

  1. I don't like Enid at all.
  1. The names that are suggested on the MN baby names forum are certainly NOT names that come up where I live and work in the South East!

  1. I love it. I like Edith too and Elsie.
  2. You do seem to get true opinions that represent the masses on here. It's good because then parents can avoid making horrendous name blunders. I once knew a girl named Natalie Lee!!
