Isabella & Charlie?

Not bothered about popularity in the UK we don't live there

Yes sound nice together, not that it bothers me how names go, but nice

diedandgonetodevon · 08/04/2009 21:56

Sound lovely to me

OMGaBabyNameThread · 08/04/2009 21:57

Oh, thanks! I'd got myself all worked up...

screamingabdab · 08/04/2009 22:42

Yep!

Prosecco · 08/04/2009 22:43

yes

norktasticninja · 08/04/2009 22:45

Charlie & Isabella.

Isabella & Charlie.

Really?

QuackQuackQuackQuack · 08/04/2009 22:51

Isabella and Charles works better I think.

And use Charlie as a nn.

pointydog · 08/04/2009 22:56

yes

MadBadandDangerousToKnow · 08/04/2009 23:02

Charles and Isabella make a very good pair. Spanish monarchy, I think.

OMGaBabyNameThread · 08/04/2009 23:02

Thanks everyone

The thing is I really don't like Charles I don't think it works with the middle name we'd like to use either...

Although I've always liked the idea of giving longer longer names and using an NN but that's no the way it's worked out! DD is always Isabella or a lengthened version and DSs proposed name is Charlie Benjamin...

brilliant typing there.

now I know you've just said you don't like Charles

BUT - I think Charles Benjamin sounds better than Charlie Benjamin

abbierhodes · 08/04/2009 23:09

Benjamin Charles.
Isabella and Ben. Lovely IMO!

OMGaBabyNameThread · 08/04/2009 23:11

You might all be able to persuade me on the merits of Charles but there is no hope with DP. Apparently it's hopelessly old fashioned to give one name and use another here and he just won't have it. At all.

OMGaBabyNameThread · 08/04/2009 23:13

Oh no, we can't use Ben/Benjamin as a first name. That's the name of a dear dear family friend, he'll never have children of his own now which is why we want to use it as an MN.

No one got anything bad to say about it at all?

Charles really isn't an option at all, it would be pronounced Shaaarrrrles...

OP posts:
BunnyLebowski · 09/04/2009 13:35

Nope.....I think they're lovely too
