Taedex!! sounds a bit chemical, like a haemarrhoid preparation or something.

That is a truly award-winningly shite list of crappy names!!!

Trainer!! (a brand of nappy or potty perhaps?)

EachPeachPearMum · 05/04/2009 12:25

Quick- someone alert seeker... woman in need of normal name help!

LisaLouby27 · 05/04/2009 14:46

What site was it Geepers?

ItsMargotBeauregarde · 05/04/2009 15:13

Seeker! that's one for crazy-no-taste-lady to add to her list

EachPeachPearMum · 05/04/2009 17:17

boogeek · 05/04/2009 17:27

On another forum I frequented before I found MN there was a Diznee (girl). I can't decide if that is better or worse than Disney!

Geepers · 05/04/2009 18:04

It was an American surrogacy site LisaLouby27.

I hope just the wombs... seriously I wouldn't want the genetic material of a woman who came up with that list!!

EachPeachPearMum · 05/04/2009 23:11

Surely surrogate mothers do not get to name the children do they Geepers?

Thingiebob · 05/04/2009 23:27

I totally agree with DifferentEggD, only half decent names although they still wouldn't be on my list.

oldraver · 06/04/2009 01:20

Tazer FFF?

Someone on my Mums board called her dd Dizney {bshock]

FairLadyOfMuslinCloth · 06/04/2009 01:28

is it an American Board?

phdlife · 06/04/2009 03:36

I must say, this has made me feel a whole lot better about the names dh and I have been considering. They're unusual, but not... um... wacky

Actually I have a friend with a Parker (boy) - and she is British! Lives in the states though,m not sure if that has affected her thinking.

Geepers · 06/04/2009 10:02

EachPeachPearMum, the lady who came up with the list is a surrogate, or has been, but is now pregnant and expecting her own baby.

Disney? Wouldn't the poor girl be breaching some copyright law every time she signed her name?

troutpout · 06/04/2009 10:14

weird. i quite like..

Quorn
Sandal
Flipflop
Arse
Wipe
Fluff

Niecie · 06/04/2009 11:10

Quorn is nice however I like

Boveril for a boy
Harpic for a girl

That list is plain weird. Trainer?! The British version would surely Pumps or Plimsoll, wouldn't it.

Niecie · 06/04/2009 11:12

That should be Bovril for a boy.

I think, or so I was told, it's scottish tradition to give a daughter the mothers maidenname as a middlename....

Ineedanewname · 06/04/2009 18:02

I wanted to do this with my two girls but my Scottish DH told me it was a ridiculous idea and vetoed it (if I hadn't been through 2 days of labour I might have been more argumentative!). Tsk.
