I really like Chase for a boy, what do you think?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Ewe · 04/04/2009 11:36

It is very American - isn't it normally spelt Chace?

It's ok, not great but nothing offensive about it. Impossible to shorten if that is a positive to you?

LouMacca · 04/04/2009 11:40

I think that there was a Chase in Falcon Crest.

There is a girl at DC school called Chase.

Don't like it for either, sorry.

Wigglesworth · 04/04/2009 11:44

Very USA, not sure myself.

Nancy66 · 04/04/2009 13:45

horrible - American teen drama style names just don't work here. They just sound chavvy. sorry.

suwoo · 04/04/2009 13:47

Someone suggested this to me last week for DS2. The other names on my lst are Felix, Arthur, Cassius and Milo so it wasn't really up my street.

southeastastra · 04/04/2009 13:50

only if second name is manhattan

tummytickler · 04/04/2009 16:51

ummm - no.

GossipMonger · 04/04/2009 16:52

it is a very Falcon Crest/Knots Landing sort of name

LadyPinkofPinkerton · 04/04/2009 16:54

I like it, but then I like Americantype names like that. I don't see why we shouldn't use names that 'sound American' anyway

HappyBump · 04/04/2009 16:57

I like it. The baby will grow into the name, doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks.

donnie · 04/04/2009 16:59

chav. sorry. It's up there with jayden and chardonnay.

solidgoldshaggingbunnies · 04/04/2009 16:59

Not a good idea if your surname is Smee.

HappyBump · 04/04/2009 17:04

solidgolfshaggingbunnies ... that really made me laugh ... maybe I should rethink my response ...

Leannabanana · 04/04/2009 17:24

Chase that was in series two or three of 24 was delicious so for that reason i say go for it....

screamingabdab · 04/04/2009 19:15

I would definitely assume it was a girls' name.

Sorry, I don't like it at all

BabyBaby123 · 04/04/2009 19:40

it's chavvy - sorry....

yappybluedog · 04/04/2009 19:54
