Nice.

Posh but nice.

bodiddly · 31/03/2009 21:45

I prefer it with the Raef spelling!

MrsMattie · 31/03/2009 21:46

Raeph is better spelling. Some spell it Ralph, which is odd.
It's nice.

rempy · 31/03/2009 21:47

Love it. But far too posh for me to use.

tiggerlovestobounce · 31/03/2009 21:47

I thought it was spelt Ralph.

Sesi · 31/03/2009 21:51

I like it a lot, it?s in my top three.

It 'should' be spelt Ralph though. Because traditional pronunciation of Ralph is Rafe a la Ralph Fiennes. I?m not convinced on the Rafe spelling?

But then if you go for Ralph everyone will probably pronouce it Ralf so..... I think this is why it's not number one on my list because apart from this problem I think it's a lovely name.

Disenchanted3 · 31/03/2009 21:53

Wraith - angel of death,

Rafe, not for me!

If you were shouting 'Rafe' in a supermarket it does sound like your being seriously sexually assaulted.

hedgiemum · 31/03/2009 21:56

I like Rafe. Know a few - all spelt that way. Know one with a bro called Arthur, which I also like.

janeite · 31/03/2009 21:57

Dislike, sorry.

noonki · 31/03/2009 22:03

sorry too posh for my liking.

Like ralph gone wrong.

screamingabdab · 31/03/2009 22:04

Sorry, too "posh"
Will be constantly mis-spelled

ilikeyoursleeves · 31/03/2009 22:10

Just reminds me of Raef from The Apprentice! Seems like a very 'posh' name.

Funnybunnyyumyum · 31/03/2009 22:32

Sorry, no.

Nancy66 · 31/03/2009 22:47

Nope - posh n poncey

ScottishThistle · 31/03/2009 23:05

Not so keen.

Love Rafferty though, Raff, Raffy

lotspot · 31/03/2009 23:35

My first reaction was rape - not a good first connection for a name!!!

LetThemEatCake · 31/03/2009 23:42

moondog · 31/03/2009 23:43

wrongsideof40 · 31/03/2009 23:47

with moondog

bettany · 01/04/2009 22:36

Love this name. Good on its own and as a shortening of Raphael or Rafael. Recently saw in Times baby names a Rafe Van Cutsem (not shortened from anything), close pals of Royal family, so it might be posh but is still lovely.

Disenchanted3 · 01/04/2009 22:39

Rafe Van Cutsem? ... rape and cuts em?

is that a joke? its not funny if so
