What do you think? Does it go with Oliver....I have no concens about the Bugsy Malone connection...

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
DSM · 31/03/2009 10:22

I love it.

Nancy66 · 31/03/2009 10:28

I think it's cute but not sure it's a name you'd want as an adult.

Also Jessie Wallace from EastEnders called her kid that and I'm sure some other chavvy sleb did too.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 31/03/2009 10:31

I know an adult Tallulah and it really suits her.

RachieB · 31/03/2009 10:37

Not keen anyway, and def not with Oliver

Talia / Tahlia is nice

mrsdisorganised · 31/03/2009 10:38

I love Tallulah......probably because of Jodie Foster in Bugsey Malone!

pixiemoon · 31/03/2009 10:39

Like it but don't think it goes with Oliver (specially cos it would end up Tally and Ollie!)

WowOoo · 31/03/2009 10:41

I love this name, but dh would not allow it (and we're having a boy). Think it sounds fine with Oliver although Oliver is more traditional and Tally/ Tallulah bit more out there. So what? Both lovely names.

Like Tahlia too. Love many girls names.

Thunderduck · 31/03/2009 11:40

I don't like it at all. And it doesn't suit an adult. It fails the prime minister/lawyer test imho.

Thunderduck · 31/03/2009 11:41

And I love Bugsy Malone, but she may have to put up with a lot of people singing that song to her. And as a Michelle I can assure you it isn't at all fun.

lou33 · 31/03/2009 11:50

i have a tallulah, mn is the only place i have had any negative comments about it

she is 12

lou33 · 31/03/2009 11:50

oh and she has never had anyone sing the bugsy malone song to her but me, because i loved that film

lou33 · 31/03/2009 11:50

and it gets shortened to Lula a lot

poshtottie · 31/03/2009 12:23

Its very pretty but I don't think it goes with Oliver.

Lou33...Lula is the nickname I would use too, however, I kind of agree with everyone that perhaps it doesn't flow well with Oliver.

i think it goes ok with oliver

tallulah and oliver

sounds ok to me

Leannabanana · 01/04/2009 20:33

i jus think of Jessie Wallace who used this for her daughter and that puts me off....nothing to do with the name....

janeite · 01/04/2009 20:34

Oliver is such a lovely name. Don't like Tallulah at all, sorry.

Ronaldinhio · 01/04/2009 20:35

Good name for a WW American bomber though

Ceolas · 01/04/2009 20:37

Not a name I'd choose

Linwin · 01/04/2009 21:06

It was your woman who used to be in corrie and holby city, she called her child that, its quite chavvy imo

lou33 · 01/04/2009 21:18

no it isnt

it just depends how you say it in your head and out loud

DiamondHead · 01/04/2009 21:21

I don't see why it doesn't go with Oliver. They're fine together, it's not like they rhyme or anything.

onebatmother · 01/04/2009 21:25

It's my dds 3rd flipertigibbet name and I'm REALLY glad I didn't make it her first.

Interestingly I also like Lola and I don't feel as strongly anti-that now..

lou33 · 01/04/2009 21:26
